The Rolwaling Tashi Laptse Pass Trek 16 nights / 17 days
This trek compromises of dramatic landscapes, rich Buddhist culture, isolated rolling valleys, traditional villages crossing of thrilling pass, pristine forest, world’s heritage ‘Sagarmatha National Park’. Also, it is enriched with flora and fauna amidst towering peaks and breathtaking views.
We cross over one of the most exciting passes of the Himalayas to enter into KhumbuValley,TashiLapcha at 5,755 meters high has made this trek popular amongst all adventurers for many years since the Rolwaing Valley opened.
The climb up the Rolwaling Valley is upright steep and covered in thick forests. But this is going to be one of the finest watershed crossings ever made in the entire of the Himalayas. Further, walking through summer pasturelands and narrow valleys open up to a wide bowl, which gives us our first taste of open mountain scenery – unique and mystical.
The trekking way back requires us to continue down traversing into the Thame Valley and onto Namche Bazaar and then to Lukla for the scenic panoramic flight to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
After arriving in Kathmandu, a representative from Mystic Kailash Adventure Pvt. Ltd will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we may take a rest or visit Mystic Kailash Adventure Pvt. Ltd. office. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by Mystic Kailash Adventure Pvt. Ltd. For dinner, you will serve authentic Nepalese cuisine, which will introduce you to the country’s food culture. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing and Preparation
After breakfast, we will go sightseeing to the UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu.
This visitation includes Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple) and Boudha, one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the Valley. You will eventually drive back to the hotel and stay night in Kathmandu. Today will be a full day sightseeing day. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Jagat via Singati (950m), 8-9 hrs
This day early in the morning, after breakfast we will drive by private vehicle/local bus to Jagat via Singati. After 6-7 hours drive, we will reach Singati. There is also a rough motorable road up to Chhetchhet, which is near Simigaon. If we do not have enough time, we will continue our drive from Kathmandu towards Jagat. Overnight at lodge/tented camp in Jagat.
Day 04: Trek from Jagat to Simigaon (2,100m), 6 hrs
This day we will walk for about 6 hours to reach Simigaon. At first, we will reach Chhetchhet walking through the motorable road. After Chhetchhet we will cross one suspension bridge, then start walking uphill till Simigaon. In Simigaon most of the people are of Tamang and Sherpa communities (Ethnic groups of Nepal). There, we will have a chance of exploring monasteries also. Overnight at lodge/tented camp in Simigaon.
Day 05: Trek from Simigaon to KelthangKharka (3,700m), 6 hrs
This day we will walk for about 6 hours to reach KelthangKharka through uphill trail and subtropical jungles. From KelthangKharka we will see good views of Mount Gaurishankar. Overnight at tented camp in KelthangKharka.
Day 06: Trek from KelthangKharka to Beding (3,690m), 6 hrs
This day we will walk for about 6 hours to reach Beding. We will walk through uphill and downhill trail. On the way, we will cross a few suspension bridges, some pine and rhododendron forests. Beding has large settlement of Sherpa communities. Overnight at lodge/tented camp in Beding.
Day 07: Trek from Beding to Na (4080m), 4 hrs
This day we will walk for about 4 hours to reach Na through easy and straight trail. On the way we will cross Pine forest, see good views of Mount Gaurishankar. We will reach at Na for lunch and also stay overnight at lodge/tented camp in Na.
Day 08: Acclimatization day at Na
Today is for acclimatization, we will hike up to TsoRolpa Lake and return back to Na. Overnight at lodge/tented camp in Na.
Day 09: Na – Thakkarding, 6 hrs
Today we will walk for about 6 hours to reach Thakkarding. Up to TsoRolpa, we will walk through uphill trail and after that, we will walk through glacier until Thakkarding. On the way, we will see views of Yalung, Ramdung and Pachhermo Peak, Mount Gaurishankar. Overnight at tented camp in Thakkarding.
Day 10: Trek from Thakkarding to Pachermo Base Camp (4,800m), 6 hrs
This day we will walk for about 6 hours to reach Pachermo Base Camp through uphill and downhill trail. After walking one and half hours through uphill trail, we will reach TsoRolpa glacier, walking along side the glacier we will reach Pachhermo Base Camp. On the way, we can see the views of Mount Gaurishankar, Yalung and Ramdung Peak. Overnight at tented camp in Pacchermo Base Camp.
Day 11: Trek from Pachermo Base Camp to TashiLapcha High Camp (5,700m), 5/6 hrs
Today we will walk for about 5 – 6 hours to reach TashiLapcha High Camp through glacier. On the way, we can see views of Mount Gaurishankar, Yalung&Ramdung Peak. We will set the camp on the southwest face of Pachermo. Overnight at tented camp in TashiLapcha High Camp.
Day 12: Trek from TashiLapcha High Camp to Phedi (5,110m), 8 hrs
This day we will walk for about 7-8 hours through uphill and downhill trail mostly covered by glacier. On the way to Phedi we have to cross TashiLapcha pass, for few minute walk we need 50 meters rope which will be fixed by our staffs. From the pass, we will see good views of Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Sishapangma, Pumori, Kanchanjunga. Overnight at tented camp in Phedi.
Day 13: Trek from Phedi to Thame Village (3,820m), 6 hrs
Today we will walk for about 6 hours to reach Thame Village through mostly straight trail, sometimes through downhill. On the way, we will cross small Juniper and Rhododendron forest. We will also see good views of Everest mountain range. Most of the people in Thame Village are of Sherpa community. Overnight at lodge/tented camp in Thame Village.
Day 14: Trek from Thame Village to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), 4-5 hrs
Today we will walk for about 4-5 hours to reach Namche Bazaar, through uphill & downhill trail. In the beginning for about 15 minutes, we will walk downhill and then walking through uphill and straight trail, we will reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight at lodge/tented camp in Namche Bazaar.
Day 15: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Today we will walk an easy way down to Lukla for the final night stay in the Khumbu region, explore around Lukla, a rapidly changing portion of the Himalayas. Overnight at lodge/tented camp in Lukla.
Day 16: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Today we will take a return flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 17: Final departure
Our company representative will take you to the airport for your flight home. On the other hand, if you prefer to stay longer, you can go for short tours OR others.
